The Premier League giants had eyed moves for Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino, however, Tuchel has decided to take a break from coaching after leaving Bayern Munich while the former Chelsea manager is unlikely to take charge at Old Trafford. They have also been linked with a move for England's Gareth Southgate but the 53-year-old is unlikely to take a call on his future until at least the end of the European Championship.
